Leather is the main material used at Le Ceinturier. We therefore attach paramount importance to using leather of the best possible quality while meeting our criteria for respecting the environment.
In order to preserve the environment and to offer a high quality product, LE CEINTURIER has exclusively opted for vegetable tanning. It is the most environmentally friendly tanning method. Longer to produce and therefore more expensive, it has the advantage of giving exceptional properties to the leather.

This finish gives our leathers a natural look and feel, so that they develop a rich texture and lots of character as they age.

Pain Brûlé leather is a full-grain mass-dyed leather. It is a well-nourished leather which will acquire suppleness over time and develop a nice patina. This leather can match all colors of clothing.
This finish takes on the bases of our Authentiques with a tint to offer a wide range of colors that will best match your desires.

Graphite leather is a full-grain leather dyed in the mass resulting from vegetable tanning. It is a strong leather, rather firm at the start, it will acquire flexibility over time. It deforms little over time and takes on a nice patina. It is ideal for larger sizes.
Graining is an operation that consists in mechanically modifying the grain of the leather in order to give it character and style.

Sand Birdie is a full-grain vegetable-tanned leather. It has been mechanically modified using large brass presses which hot stamp the leather (260C°) to form a grain called Birdie on its surface. With its pop and chic style, the Sand Birdie leather will be perfect for your dressy outfits as well as your casual outfits.

The Pull Up effect is a highly sought-after effect on leather. When the leather is folded, it becomes lighter where it was folded. The leather will slowly return to its darker shade. Wool felt is an amalgam of wool which allows us to obtain a non-woven fabric by pressure and scalding of natural fibers. Our felts are made from 100% merino wool fibers: the finest and silkiest one for this use.

Genuine 100% natural wool felt made in Germany. Charcoal felt is anthracite grey. Composed of 100% natural fibers of sheep's wool, it is labeled Ecocert. Naturally water-repellent, it is soft and protective at the same time. Wool felt is a material that goes perfectly with leather, also 100% organic.
