Full-grain leather:

Corrected leather:
The surface has been sanded to remove imperfections and then coated with a finishing treatment. The appearance is more uniform, but the leather loses some of its character and durability.

Split leather:
This is the lower layer of the hide, which is less dense and less durable. It is often used in entry-level products.

Reconstituted leather:
Made from leather fibers compressed with synthetic binders. It is the least durable option.
