VEGETABLE-TANNED LEATHER
In order to preserve the environment and offer a high-quality product, we have opted for vegetable tanning.
It is the most environmentally-friendly tanning method. This method takes longer to carry out and is therefore more costly, but it has the advantage of giving the leather exceptional properties, as opposed to chrome tanning which is most commonly found in conventional leather goods.

WHO ARE WE?
Olympe and Lucas co-founded LE CEINTURIER in 2009.
Lucas was immersed in craftsmanship from an early age, as his parents have always worked leather. This inspired Olympe and Lucas to make this world their own, adding their own modern touch to be more in tune with the times.
To answer the growing demand for better consumption and inspired by an ecological way of life, they chose to embrace a cleaner, more respectful of our planet, form of production.
Since then, the company has gone from strength to strength, with its growing team of enthusiasts united around the same core values. Most of the team have previous experience in major luxury houses.
